1.1.4 Query with RS232 / TTL- Changer: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
These Connector changes TTL- signals to RS232- signals. The special: it don't need a external power supply. With a special circuit it generate the power from the RS232- signals. Is nevertheless the power to less, you can give them a external power supply from 5V on the RS485- Connector. The device is saved for hyper voltage. Your PC cannot broken, the RS232 has a limitation for maximum current. The maximum baud rate is 115 KBaud. The signals TxD, RxD, RTS and CTS are transmitted. These hardware working with BinTerm- software under Windows 9x, NT4.0, 2000 and XP. The connector is excellent suitable for microcontroller devices, where never is a RS232- charger implement. The device change the RS232 signals into TTL. The signals RTS/CTS in the TTL- side with a resistor connected, when these signals are never used, they going right back into the PC. |
