  1. Introduction:

BinTerm is a Dataspy with them you can spy a data stream between serial ports and protocol on the screen. With external hardware, you can spy RS422/485, LIN- and CAN-Bus or measure the baud rate. When you use two COM- ports, you can give them different connection- parameters.

Optional you can indicate the received bytes as ASC-II, ANSI, OEM, hex or dez. Or you can define self a character set. You can all characters define, whose make a line break.
With a filter function, you can limit the display.

When you want test, BinTerm can insert a data- telegram into the datastream.
For documentation, you can write notices and comments in the protocol.

The received protocol can save as textfile or as RTF- file. In the RTF- file maintain the colors from protocol.

With a PlugIn- function, you can translate your data- protocol into clear text for protocoling in BinTerm. You can more for that read in the homepage.
